Raising Standards is a ministry of women serving women guided by the scriptural teaching in Titus 2: 3-4. to teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children.
Many young women today are not aware of the standard that God has set for women. Many lack the wherewithal to take care of a home and provide familial stability. Presently, Raising Standards is offering young women – from women that have overcome adversity, access to community resources, a biblical foundation and the encouragement to make their good better and their better best
Raising Standards is a dream that will one day be a place. A home where young women will have the support and guidance that is necessary to cultivate ambition and confidence. This home will be in the Northeast sector ofRochester, NY. The services will be available by referral only to women aged 22 and older who are re-entering society, either from prison or drug rehabilitation.
The women will represent the most successful in their population with the least support in society. The goal is to prevent recidivism and relapse while fostering self-love, self-confidence and respect for self and the community.
